My first impression is that you don’t see pipes of this shape in this large a format. Perhaps it’s the amount of burl required. It’s a Grp. 7 size. It’s one of the Pipes Paul reconditioned, so it’s like new. The stem is acrylic and the tenon is built to take a 6mm filter, if you so choose. I see no reason to do so. Without the filter in the tenon, the draw is wide-open. With its cross grain and Bird’s Eye, it’s a fun pipe to look at.
