Paul Perri #215-3626 *SOLD 11/15/23*

$295.00

As Paul Perri did not grade his pipes (he had a higher regard for humanity than I, and believed that the intrinsic worth of a pipe would make itself known to the observational powers of the would-be buyer) we have to go by price, and at $295, this is as high as Paul would go. He also did not use stains that either covered up flaws or highlighted grain. Again, one would have to look carefully to see what the pipe truly could deliver. In this case, the thin, tight straight grain goes all around the bowl, with a little fall off at the front. It’s large, a Grp. 7 size, and my thumb can take a swim in the chamber. This piece has an acrylic stem. (no oxidation) and a wide-open draw. Alas, it is the last of the Perris. New.
6 1/8” long, bowl 2.7” tall. Weight: 2 7/8 oz., 83 grams.
