JHW #621-022 *RESERVED*

Sale Price:$45.00 Original Price:$75.00

Another John Weinberger freehand (I hope I finally have the name right) in what is really his recognizable style. Here, not only is the bowl oval, but so is the chamber. It might make that chamber a bit difficult to ream out. For now, there’s very little, if any, cake in the chamber so it’s not an issue. The condition is very good with no marks on the stem and no burns on the rim. The draw is open and the stem is vulcanite. Grp. 6 size, or even a little bigger. In just about every JHW pipe I’ve seen, and that numbers in the 20s I suspect, over the years, his initials, the only nomenclature on the pipe, is lightly stamped and easy to miss. My guess is that he was no egomaniac, but rather shy and humble. I should ask Tinsky. Used.
5.75” long, bowl 2.45” tall. Weight: 2 oz., 57 grams.
