Ed Andrew #32124-7519 *SOLD 4/28/24 GB*

$125.00

Ed, who was a tool and die maker if memory serves (I knew him pretty well…we spent time together at pipe shows) was a quiet person and not expert at self-promotion, thus his skill often went unnoticed. He could make pipes in almost any style and this piece shows off his ability to read briar and derive the most out of it. Lots of straight and flame grain on a large (Grp. 7) but restrained freehand. The vulcanite stem too is sculpted. The draw is open. The condition is excellent with no wear on the rim and no marks on the stem.
6” long, bowl 3” tall at its highest; Weight: 3 oz., 86 grams.
