Peterson Killarney #81723-5081 (SOLD)

$35.00

Look, my job is to sell pipes, not play pipe critic. So, if Peterson gets a hair up its collective tush and decides to take a perfectly decent chunk of briar and shellac it, what value is there in me taking them to task. I just won’t do it. And if the “P” stamping on the stem is doubled up so that it looks more like a G Clef, again, there is no need for me to overwork my fingers. And the stain is a nice shade of claret. I have a tee shirt in that color that I like a lot. The condition is excellent, and I did manage to open up the semi-clogged draft so that the draw is now quite good. The “P” lip stem is vulcanite and the size is Grp. 5. Used.
5.5” long, bowl 2” tall. Weight: 1 5/8 oz., 48 grams.
