Barling's Make EXEL #112123-5998 *SOLD 12/15/23*

$325.00

The shape number here is 297 and the block “Barling’s Make” puts this incontestably in the family era. The condition is very good, too, with just a hint of wear on the inner rim of the chamber and a clear, crossed “Barling” logo on the stem top. Why it’s an EXEL rather than an LF I couldn’t say. The sandblast I just posted, with a shorter shank, is called an LF, but that’s just the vicissitudes of pipe nomenclature. The nomenclature is all clean and legible. Grp. 6 size. Used.
6.5” long, bowl 1.85” tall. Weight: 1 5/8 oz., 45 grams.
