This is an earlier Kurt Balleby pipe, but you can see from the straight grain all around the bowl and the rich, thick Bird’s Eye laden rim that he well knew how to extract the best grain pattern from the briar block. It’s a Grp. 6 in size with a wide-open draw and a vulcanite stem. It’s unsmoked, so the condition is ‘new.’
