1962 Dunhill Shell #112123-5874 *SOLD 12/23/23*

$385.00

Those few who know what I like to smoke, almost to the exclusion of everything else, will scratch their heads at my posting for public sale this pipe. For me, nothing smokes as well as an old Dunhill. Others have their preferences, as it should be. Can you imagine the world if we all wanted only the same thing(s)? So, why is this one on the site? Because it’s in too good a condition for a slob like me. I do try, really I do, to only use matches on good pipes so as not to burn the rim. And I try not to drop them and snap the stems. I don’t want to ruin a pipe, but I’m a slob. If I go out to eat in a good sweater or shirt, of course I’m going to stain it. Inevitable. So, here it is, a pipe that should make any smoker, certainly any smoker of latakia, a very happy recipient…sacrificing only money (look…I’m not asking you to sacrifice your oldest son or daughter, or even your wife, although that would probably be OK, huh?…but just money. Money comes and goes…yes, mostly goes) for a 1962 Dunhill Shell, Grp. 4, with crisp, clean nomenclature, a crisp, clean rim and a near pristine, original stem. Used.
6 1/8” long, bowl 1.75” tall. Weight: 1 1/8 oz., 31 grams.
