The almost perfect body. The rim is crisp and clean, the nomenclature all present and accounted for (not all that crisp but entirely and easily legible) and the stem without a mark…EXCEPT…for one deep, ugly tooth mark. It doesn’t take much to mess up the value of a pipe. Although it has the Grp. 4 stamp on the shank, it has that Grp. 5 (or larger) size because of the LB designation. The briar is clearly hard. This pipe might need more breaking in. Used.
