Hallmarks on both sterling additions affirm that 1906 is the year of production. While I have not been with this pipe each moment of its existence, the stem style is a match; it likely an original, esp. considering the fine all-around condition of the pipe.  The one shortcoming is the absence of a removable meerschaum cup so that cleaning under the bowl is not possible. The trick, then, is to keep the passageways (in both gourd & stem) clean by liberal use of your pipe cleaners. Happily, the draw is quite open, so that it should smoke well. Not sure how to describe the size of the pipe; it's large, but not huge, while the chamber is fairly small by comparison...maybe Grp. 4 size in both depth and diameter. A nice piece of history.
