This pipe is in excellent condition, with a clean, crisp rim and pristine vulcanite stem. The draw is open and the chamber is almost large enough to take in my thumb. The tight grain pattern indicates a hard piece of briar. Some bamboo pipes employ a metal tenon; this one has a metal sleeve, or maybe ‘cuff’ is more precise inside the bamboo, so the pipe uses a standard tenon. Used.
