With a group of pipes like these, which a friend gave me to sell for him (too large for his current tastes) I can get tired of talking about all the remarkable straight grain each pipe has. What makes this one noteworthy is that the remarkable straight grain does not fall off at either the front or back of the bowl. It is not only tight straight grain, but it is 360 degrees. After that, the other details are what you might expect…an open draw, a pass on the cleaner test. The stem is vulcanite and the size is a Grp. 6. New.
