Peterson's Wicklow #62123-4205JC *SOLD 8/16/23*

$65.00

This is not a Pre-Republic Pete, but it looks like it is. At least to me it does. Possibly, it’s the deep, ring grained sandblast that makes me think that, or the size and shape and color of the stain. Add to that the name of the grade, Wicklow. I have never seen that grade of Peterson before. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. I think they did very well with this pipe. The condition is excellent, although the photo shows the pipe before it was cleaned up, and for that I apologize. The stem is undergoing de-oxidization as I type this and will arrive looking shiny and new. The insides, of course, will be diligently scrubbed. Be advised that although the stem is original and has the “P” on the side…buffed down but visible, it does not have the P-lip, but rather is a twin-bore, made for those who tend to bite down hard on the vulcanite. So, maybe that’s why I haven’t seen the Wicklow before. It’s also large…a Grp. 6 size.
6” long, bowl 2.15” tall. Weight: 2 1/8 oz., 59 grams.
