This unsmoked pipe is stamped “Extra Large” and also has the Lane “L” on the shank. The Double-Comfort stem in this instance is both narrow and thin, providing a comfortable mouth feel for those, like me, who do not like thick, wide stems. As you can see, the chamber is uncoated, and the look is of an unstained pipes, although I suspect it might have a very light tan stain. Hard to be sure. Over time, the white of the “CP” stem logo has faded, but the CP stamp is certainly still on the stem.
