This is stamped “King” and it is large for a Barling. The brand name is in script, and the shape number is 6199, yet in every sense it looks and feels like old Barling briar. There is handsome cross grain and Bird’s Eye and I do not see any fills. The condition is very good, with just a hint of wear on the inner rim of the chamber. The original stem, vulcanite, with logo, has extremely light mark on the top and bottom of the stem, at the button. The draw is open. Used.
