There is a little mark after the “D” in England, which would typically indicate the date of production, but the mark is indistinguishable. Further on down the shank, near the stem, is a “28,” which might or might not be intended as the way to date the pipe. Regardless, you can see the great ring grain up and down the bowl. The pipe’s condition is excellent, with a crisp, clean rim and a mark-free stem. Likewise the chamber is clean and smooth. The size is Grp. 5.
