I didn’t recognize this as a Perri. It looks so very Danish, but then, Paul could capture almost any shape or style he wanted to. When Hollywood needed a period pipe for an actor, they would take the original, old pipe to Paul (they wouldn’t consider having an old, used pipe go into the mouth of an actor) and he would duplicate it exactly. Indeed, his hobby was collecting precision measuring instruments, which I saw when visiting his home. this piece looks absolutely unsmoked., It may be an old piece and the only indication of the maker is a “P,” in white, on the flat bottom of the bowl. It’s pretty large, but not huge. A grp. 7 in size.
