The Great Bonaquisti. I love him. This piece, and they come up for sale infrequently I’m led to understand, is both large and in excellent condition. However, the rim is smooth, and not the rough hewed plateau top that best complements the deep, rugged sandblast of the rest of the bowl and shank. For that reason (and there is nothing wrong with this rim, as you can see in the photos) I am underpricing this pipe. The draw is wide-open and in fact the pipe passes the cleaner test easily. Tortoise shell stem. Dated ‘05 and stamped XXL. See specs below for details.
BTW, the pipe pictured next to the XXL is a Grp. 6 (NFS).
