Jobey Stromboli Extra #5625-11607 *SOLD 5/13/25*

$45.00

Perhaps my favorite shape name, the Jolly Boy. The Jolly Boy reminds me of the original drawings of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum by the brilliant illustrator John Tenniel. Anybody out there know from whence this shape name derives? (Actually, about the only one I think I know is the Prince, which comes from Edward VII, when he was still a roué and the Prince of Wales. This pipe is in near-new condition and has the Jobey Link as a tenon, which, if the draw is open (and it is in this case, happily) is preferable to standard tenons in many ways. Well, at least two ways, anyhow. The doesn’t appear to be particularly large, but despite good, thick chamber walls, my thumb fits into the chamber. Let’s make our own rules and call it a Grp. 5.5.
5.9” long, bowl 1.85” tall. Weight: 2 1/8 oz, 59 grams.
