Bill Walther #225-10619 *4/23/25*

$210.00

The pipe is in excellent condition, maybe even ‘near-new.’ The bowl is a Grp. 7 size and the bamboo has 9 knuckles. Nonetheless, it has a nice, open draw. Of course, with such a long shank and such a large, thick bowl, it’s going to be top heavy and not suitable for holding in your mouth, but it’s not built for that purpose. That bowl has lots of straight grain all around. For my old eyes, the only thing legible in the nomenclature is the #17 stamped in the middle of the circle which helped me identify the maker as the Walther pipe I own has a 16 in the circle. Bill needs to enlarge his ego a little and his stamping a lot. P.S. The brindle stem appears to be ebonite. The pipe does sit up on that flat bottomed foot.
7.5” long, bowl 2” tall (sans foot). Weight: 2 5/8 oz., 74 grams.
