Yes, this pipe has certainly been smoked, but consider that it’s well started on its way to coloring up. The rim is blackened but it is not worn and the chamber is in excellent condition. Best of all, the draw is open. This pipe will be easy to smoke and puff on. That it is a signed piece puts it at the upper echelon of meerschaum pipes and while the photo may not be great, this is a well carved pipe with all sharp points of the teeth intact. Grp. 5. this pipe does not have a case.
