Ser Jacopo Gepetto #11526-13188 *SOLD 2/10/26*
Although made from the same tip-top XX briar as the more costly Ser Jacopo line, the Gepetto is (or at least was, initially) restricted to one finish and just 15 or so shapes, using a rigid rather than a flexible drill bit. That might mean that it doesn’t pass a cleaner without removing the stem from the shank. That doesn’t matter here because this pipe does pass the cleaner test, although I had to turn the cleaner a little, but no crimping was necessary. I also notice that the pipe web sites call the pipe “Mastro Gepetto.” This is stamped simply Gepetto. Maurizio Fraternale now owns Ser Jacopo and I suppose he has made changes to suit his vision. The condition of this pipe is new, so no issue there.
6 1/8” long, bowl 2.5” tall (mostly because the shank runs under the bowl and adds to the height). Weight: 2 oz., 58 grams.
