Ser Jacopo #51326-14130 *SOLD 7/27/26*

An oldie but goodie. This must be a very early piece because the dot on the stem isn’t even coral, but rather a sort of dark ivory gray. Maybe it crossed the line into the Dunhill logo and had to be replaced. And let’s be honest, the pipe is big and bulky, without the refined shaping of later Ser Jacopo’s. (Group 7, at least.) But the condition, for its age, is very very good. The stem shows the lightest of tooth activity and the nice, thick chamber rim is wear-free. For those keeping score at home, it’s an R2. That means it is rusticated rather than sand blasted. I’d call it an heirloom piece, especially if you collect Ser Jacopo pipes.
6” long, bowl 2.25” tall. Weight: 2 5/8 oz., 75 grams.
