It’s only been about 50 years writing the name of this pipe…first on typewriter paper and now via a keyboard on a computer screen, and I still struggle with the spelling. OK, laugh at me if you want, I won’t hear you, but remember this…in the 7th grade, I was the best speller in the class, the only one to get a 100% on our mid-term spelling test. Yes, academically I may have gone down hill, way down hill, after that but it’s still something to remember with pride. This one is in very good condition, with just a touch of wear on the rim to keep it from being “excellent.” The stem is mark-free with the 3 brass dot logo completely intact. The nomenclature is clear, “La Savinelli” as the Giubileo’s are often labeled, and the draw is wide-open. My favorite grade of Savinelli…although a good Punto Oro is sometimes a challenger. Grp. 5.
