Radice Silk Cut G #32526-13650

$125.00

It’s both large and endowed with superb ring grain in the blast, which actually extends up the shank. Must have been a helluva piece of briar. The draw is open and the condition is excellent. When first looking at it, and examining the nomenclature, I expected to see something like a “Collector” label attached to it. And, though the condition still leaves the rim without wear, you can see the pipe was smoked regularly…it probably produces a fine experience, at least with Virginias. (Although, if you’re experienced, you know how touchy pipes can be…one Virginia blend smokes like a dream…ad a slightly different type of Virginia, and the pipe rebels. Same with Latakia…just cause a pipe smokes great with one Latakia-laced blend does not mean it will cotton to all Latakia blends. Pipes are just like people…each one is an individual, with its own peculiarities and idiosyncrasies. That is why a pipe that would not perform for me, when traded or sold gets a “wow…that pipe is my best smoker” from its new owner.). The upshot is, if any seller/trader tells you how great a pipe smokes (especially if they haven’t smoked it) they’re full of it.
5.8” long, bowl 2.25” tall. Weight: 2 3/8 oz., 67 grams.
