Having, a good number of times, been in the Radice showroom, off their workshop, and having seen a lot of their pipes as David Field, the Radice importer, picked through the pipes he wanted, with me chipping in suggestions, etc., I can tell you that this large a pipe (Grp 8, if such a large Grp. existed in the Dunhill sizing hierarchy) with this much tight, fill-free straight grain is rare. This piece has been preserved unsmoked. At the rim, the chamber is just shy of 1” in diameter.
