Made under the auspices of Castello founder Carlo Scotti, this Grp., 5 sized pipe has that coral, or is it virgin, finish? It also has that old diamond logo of the earlier U.S. imports. The overall condition is very good, with some carbon residue on the rim, but no wear, so that rim is still round and crisp. There are 3 very minor, shallow bite marks on the bottom of the stem and one on the top. Like so many Castellos, I feel pretty confident that this is a very good smoker.
