With all the tight straight grain encircling the pipe, Paolo had little choice but to dub this a Royal Flush. It’s a Grp. 6 size and outside of a touch of wear on the inner rim (see photo) the condition is excellent, with no marks on the stem. Paolo’s construction is good enough so that despite the S bend of stem and shank, the pipe passes the cleaner test.
