I feel like saying this pipe is a bit of a marvel. It doesn’t look large, doesn’t feel large, is extremely comfortable in the hand of someone not at all large, and yet it is so well proportioned that even so, the chamber diameter is big enough that my thumb can fit inside it, while the walls are quite thick. How did Paolo do it? There are other benefits to this pipe. It was made before Paolo graded his pipes and before he coated the interior of each bowl. The draw is, of course, wide-open and the pipe easily passes a cleaner. Lots of tight straight grain, too, in case you’re interested.
