This pipe is for someone who wants to experience the smoothness that most Castellos deliver without the expense typically involved in accessing that experience. The bones of the pipe are well worth utilizing…the cosmetic aspects are mostly gone. The nomenclature, for instance, while mostly legible, are buffed way down, if not entirely out in some cases. (Actually, I don’t think anything is buffed out. You can read it all…it’s just that an old, cataract laced character like me needs a lens to be sure about some of it. Come to think of it…why are you buying pipes from someone who struggled to read the lines on the DMV eye chart?). The stem is the biggest problem, in my estimation. There are wide tooth indents. None deep, but wide and a little unsightly
But the draw is wide-open, the chamber is in very good condition and even the rim is good and round. It’s large, too;at least a Grp. 6.
