Safferling #11526-13082

$235.00

Bertram Safferling, along with Baldo Baldi, used the absolute minimum of electric tools. I never saw Baldo’s workshop, but I did see Bertram’s a number of times. I think he may have had one electric sander, and that was it. Nonetheless, he was, and is…he may be back to making pipes, able to get the kind of results you see in this pipe. Working with hand tools, each pipe takes a lot of time to make, as you can imagine. (You should see the speed such masters as Tom Eltang and Rainer Barbi…RIP…achieve.). This one is in excellent condition…maybe near-new. Grp. 6 size and great cross grain at the front and back of the bowl.
5.9” long, bowl 1.9” tall. Weight: 1.75 oz., 50 grams.
