Redman Royal #5625-11803 *SOLD 6/30/25*
Over the years, I have had a (small) number of Redman pipes, including a 7 day set, and they have always impressed me, as does this piece. Yet there is almost nothing said about them on the trusty Pipedia, other than a listing of the Redman factory’s other brands…likely seconds or names produced for pipe shops around Great Britain. This pipe is fiarly large, Grp. 6, and unsmoked. The grain exhibits a lot of Bird’s Eye and cross grain and on top of that, is exceedingly clean; It’s almost virgin in color and yet I don’t even see a sand pit. Despite a thick wall, the chamber still can take my thumb. The stem material is ebonite and the draw is open. It’s a crime for me to offer briar of this quality at such a low price, and it’s a steal for you. It’s rather Charatan-like in shape, isn’t it?
5.9” long, bowl 2.15” tall. Weight: 2 1/8 oz., 60 grams.
