Here is a fine example of a cross grain, Bird’s Eye in a venerable English brand. I believe their advertising slogan was “Smoked By Shrewd Judges,” accompanied by a head shot of an English judge in his peruke. The pipe is in excellent condition, and is a Grp. 5 in size. The stem material is vulcanite with the original logo on it and no tooth marks.
