A lot of people know more about Larryson pipes than I do. The pipe maker’s name is Paul Hubartt and from what I’ve read, he infuses an Icelandic sensibility into his work, whatever that means. Regardless, he has stopped making pipes. The pipes I’ve seen by him are always interesting and made with the same diligent attention to quality, which is why they are not graded. They’re all good. This large piece, Grp. 7 size, and the finish is called Sequoia Bark. It is in excellent condition. In case the photos don’t provide the detail, the stem is a green and black brindle if that makes any sense to you. the pipe was made in 2012 in Cornwall, England.
