I had my ace researcher look into this pipe and based on the nomenclature, it apparently pre-dates 1940. It is shape 801 and simply says “London Made” in an oval, with the “London” over the “Made.” Along with the age comes the excellent condition of the pipe. The stem is in pristine condition, with the original “C” in place and the bowl rim is clean and crisp.
7.5” long, bowl 1.7” tall. Weight: 2.5 oz., 70 grams.
