You can tell by the Double-Comfort stem’s button that this is a fairly old Charatan. It does have the Lane “L” stamped on the shank. The condition is very good, with some residual carbon in the inner rim and much of the white buffed off the “CP” stem logo.
Like the true purist company that Charatan was, the bowl on this classic Pot is wider than it is tall.
