This little (Grp. 3) Barling has block letters, with a shape number of 2174. Except for the white coloring in the crossed Barlings on the stem, the pipe is in excellent condition. You can read the stem logo, but the white has been polished out. The “Special” must refer to the combination of cross grain and Bird’s Eye.
