This is not a pre-tansition piece, although there is a “EB” & “WB” inscribed on the silver ferrule, whatever that means in terms of vintage. There are shape numbers on the pipe: 51779. The pipe is in excellent condition, including sharp, clear nomenclature. But there is no “Barling” on the stem, so although it is mark-free, it might be a replacement. If so, it’s exceedingly well done. It’s a Grp. 5 in size.
