I’m guessing that the “26” after the “Made in England” means 2006. I do a lot. of guessing, don’t I? The pipe is in excellent condition, and it’s pretty big, so another thing I guess is that the “X” designations don’t always mean a lot. I’ve seen 3X Pebble Grains a lot smaller than this. My understanding is that a single X was supposed to be equivalent to a Grp. 4 size Dunhill, but if so, it was not acted on consistently. Ah, so what? Pots tend to be large, anyhow, and this one is certainly built of sturdy stuff.
