The band on this pipe, brass I presume, says “Dunhill Classic Series.” What does that mean? why is this more classic than all the other Dunhill traditional shapes? Well, it’s a Grp. 4, and in very good condition. I know that the dark spot on the rim makes it look as though there is a fair amount of wear at that spot on the rim, but it has more to do with the dark spot than any actual wear. In fact, I’ve polished almost all of that spot off and if there is any wear at all, it is negligible. The stem is pristine, as is the chamber,
