I’ll say this is in excellent condition, although if I were an honest man, or even occasionally honest (I’m a salesman…what are you expecting, George Washington?) I’d mention the hint of tooth chatter on the stem. It’s extremely slight, but there are perfectionists among you and rather than raise your ire, let there be no surprises. If you’re not a perfectionist (and if you are…this is not the site for you…Marty Pulvers does not do perfect. Just ask his wife) don’t give this pipe’s slight imperfections another thought. The shank alone is 4” long, without the bowl or stem. The nomenclature is all clear, if not 100% crisp. The blast is crisp.
