The pipe is an “R” which must translate into a Pot shape. The condition is excellent, with the nomenclature still crisp and clear and the bowl rim nice and sharp and the stem mark-free. It has a good, old blast pattern, too. Depending on how much of a purist you are, a Dunhill Pot like this is less classic than those we see from, say, Charatan, but for most of us, this sort of Billiard/Pot hybrid is easier to fill and smoke. I remember Mike Butera giving me a lesson on how he fills the tobacco into his Pots. Far too much work for the likes of me.
