Nice to see a 1954 pipe in such excellent condition. It’s only a Grp. 3, but looks closer to a Grp. 4 and actually fits that size on the Dunhill chart. The nomenclature is not perfect…a couple of the numbers at the beginning of the Pat. # are buffed down, but more than enough are legible to ascertain the year. The rest of the nomenclature is clear. The original stem is near pristine and the rim is crisp and clean. A great old find.
