Nording C #72025-10257

$85.00

Not being a detail person, my knowledge of the various grades the pipe makers is sadly small. I thought Nording had number grades, 18 being about the highest. Here, though, we have a letter grade, so I took a quick look on the computer and found a number of sellers with C grade Nordings. Most of them were at least partially rusticated, although there were some that were entirely smooth, as is this piece. But…most of them were pretty damned ugly. This one is by far the most interesting and handsomest of what I looked at. It’s pretty large…Grp. 7 size maybe, with an open draw and B+ on the cleaner test, requiring only a twist of the cleaner for it to pass into the chamber. No crimping of the tip needed. Vulcanite stem material and everything in excellent condition. Nomenclature is simple: “Nording;” “Denmark,” “C.”
5.65” long, bowl 2.2” tall. Weight: 2.5 oz., 72 grams.
