Larsen Super #5625-11858 *SOLD 7/7/25*

$95.00

This is the kind of heartbreaker that I hate…a pipe that is almost certainly sunsmoked, aka ‘new,’ but with that slight touch of doubt that prevents me from presenting it as unsmoked. I don’t detect any trace of tobacco use…neither aroma or taste (yes, I used my tongue on the tenon to see if I could detect a hint of nicotine) but yet a chamber that doesn’t provide the certainty I feel necessary to declare a pipe unsmoked. If it was smoked, it couldn’t have been for more than 15 seconds. (BTW…I once sold a pipe, a Teddy Knudsen, that I declared as unsmoked. When the buyer wanted to return it, a month and a half later, declaring it had been smoked, I challenged him and we sent it to a mutually agreed upon pipe maker to decide. Thus, I won a $2600 bet.). This pipe is large, Grp. 7 size, with a chamber that easily takes my thumb and is 9/10” in diameter at the rim. Obviously, the condition is, at worst, like-new.
6 1/8” long, bowl 2.4” tall. Weight: 2 3/8 oz., 69 grams.
